Why we're rethinking car care

Car care probably isn't the first thing that comes to mind when we think about making more responsible choices.

But maybe it should be.

We think about the ingredients in our food, the products we use in our homes, and what we put on our bodies. We read labels. We ask where things come from. We look for better options.

Then we walk into the garage and somehow, the conversation stops.

For decades, traditional car care has existed in its own world. Bright colors, artificial fragrances, complicated ingredient lists, and products designed with little consideration for what happens after they leave the bottle.

We believe taking care of the things we own and being thoughtful about the world around us should go hand in hand.

That means choosing plant-derived ingredients wherever we can. Being transparent about what's inside our products. Reducing unnecessary ingredients. Thinking about where our products are used, where they eventually end up, and the people using them along the way.

It also means recognizing that responsibility isn't an endpoint.

We're constantly learning, questioning, and looking for ways to make better choices. We won't pretend that washing a car is going to save the planet, and we don't believe sustainability should be reduced to a few green words on a bottle.

For us, it's about progress.

It's about taking a category that hasn't changed much and asking what it could look like if it reflected the values people already bring to the rest of their lives.

Because your values shouldn't have to stop at the garage door.

This is car care, done responsibly.
